Four things change the price, in this order.
How much counter there is
The single biggest factor by a wide margin. Everything is priced by the square foot, so the size of the run matters more than anything you choose about it.
Which stone you pick
Quartz and granite sit at the affordable end. Marble and porcelain are higher. Rare statement slabs are priced one slab at a time.
Waterfall sides
Stone running down the sides of an island to the floor looks superb and uses a great deal more of it. It is usually the thing people remember about a kitchen.
The holes we cut
Each sink, cooktop and tap opening takes shop time. A single undermount sink is routine; two sinks and a cooktop is more work.

How much do countertops cost in Miami?
Countertops are priced by the square foot, installed. In South Florida the range runs from about $45 to $95 per square foot depending on the stone. A typical kitchen here is 40 to 60 square feet, so most kitchens land between $2,500 and $6,000 fitted. Bathrooms are much smaller and usually come in between $700 and $1,800.
How much is a quartz countertop per square foot?
Roughly $55 to $80 per square foot, installed. Granite sits in the same band. Marble and porcelain run higher, about $80 to $115 per square foot. Rare statement slabs are above $115 and are usually priced one slab at a time.
Is quartz cheaper than granite?
Here they cost about the same. Pick between them on how you want the counter to behave rather than on price: quartz never needs sealing but can scorch under a hot pan, and granite takes a hot pan happily but wants a sealer wiped over it once a year.
How much does a bathroom vanity top cost?
Most bathrooms land between $700 and $1,800, including the sink opening and the strip of stone behind the tap. Bathrooms are smaller and quicker than kitchens, which is why they cost so much less.
Do you charge for measuring or for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and the measuring visit is free, and neither commits you to anything. We laser-measure the real space and send you a layout showing where every seam and sink opening falls. Nothing is cut until you approve it.
How do I work out how many square feet I need?
You do not have to, and almost nobody knows. As a rough guide a galley kitchen is around 30 square feet, a typical kitchen with an island is around 50, and a large one is 70 or more. We measure the real space for free before anything is cut.
Is there a cheaper option than replacing the whole counter?
Sometimes. Chips at the edge can usually be repaired in place without replacing anything, and a small vanity or a single run is a much smaller job than a full kitchen. Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
