Natural stone. Extremely tough, takes a hot pan without complaining, and every piece is slightly different from the last.
Grey with natural speckling and movement. The practical choice, and the one we fit most often in outdoor kitchens.
Best for: Outdoor kitchens, hard-working family kitchens, and anywhere hot pans get put down.

Looking after it
Wipe a sealer over it about once a year, which takes roughly twenty minutes for a whole kitchen. Otherwise warm water and dish soap. You can put a hot pan straight down on granite.
